Başakşehir is experiencing the science education of the future! Students have the chance to discover the wonders of science in a completely new way thanks to a ground-breaking partnership between the Başakşehir Living Lab and the Başakşehir District Directorate of National Education. VRLab Academy is available to schools without conventional laboratory infrastructure, enabling students to conduct experiments in a safe, engaging, and immersive environment.
In addition to giving students new opportunities, this program gives teachers the skills and resources they need to make virtual labs a reality. In order to comprehend how VRLab Academy complements biology, chemistry, and physics curricula, participating teachers first attended in-depth theoretical training sessions as part of the project. The VR experiments were then followed by hands-on practical sessions where teachers experienced them as their students would, immersing themselves in a world where complex experiments can be carried out without the use of physical materials and science concepts are visualized in three dimensions.
This collaboration guarantees that every student, irrespective of their school's resources, can interact with science in a meaningful and engaging way by fusing cutting-edge virtual reality technology with the knowledge of committed educators. By converting abstract ideas into vibrant, interactive experiences, VRLab Academy increases interest, understanding, and memory.
