Transformers are electrical devices consisting of two or more coils of wire used to transfer electrical energy by means of a changing magnetic field. You will be learning all essentials about transformers, number of turns, calculation of the current and so on. Check your data during the experiment and don’t forget to have fun!
Build simple electrical circuits. Learn the usage of ammeter and voltmeter. Investigate parallel and series connected resistive circuits and capacitor
Study magnetic field along axis of current carrying circular loop by Biot-Savart law Find strength of the magnetic field at the centre of the current
Study magnetic field created by a current carrying solenoid, investigate the relationship between the current in a solenoid and magnetic field.
Study the magnetic field produced by the current in a pair of Helmholtz coils and measure the strength of the magnetic field between the coils.
